Tofu cuisine

We visited Nanzen-ji where is famous for tofu cuisine in Kyoto. We had Tofu full course meal for lunch beofre visiting the temple itself.

Huge gate in Nazen-ji
Zen garden
Nanzen-ji is the highest class of Zen temple in Japan. There were not many tourists in this temple, but I would highly recommend to visit the Tofu restaurant "Jyun Sei" in front of the temple and temple itself!! It's a quiet and really beautiful place where you can relax from the bottom of your heart.
Get some smoke for your body and be healthier!
We found an interesting transportation outside of Nanzen-ji. It's called "Jinriki-sha" (Rickshaw). In historical tourist places like Kyoto, Jinriki0-sha is a common attraction/transportation in Japan.

Tonight we are staying at Ryokan, the traditional Japanese inn with Japanese style rooms and meals. Each room has Tatami (straw matt) flooring and Yukata (robe), and Futon (bedding - different from Futon in North America!). The meal is authentic Japanese course meal, and it has plenty of seasonal veggies, fish, and other material.
